Special CBA Meeting on Membership Dues

Wednesday, December 9th at 6:30 PM

A special meeting of the association will be held at 6:30 pm on December 9 / 2015 at the 55+ Centre, Cordova Bay Elementary School.

The purpose of the meeting is to request approval from the membership to a proposed change to the membership fees. The proposed change would introduce a $10.00 fee per household to include all residents in that household 18 years of age or older, from the existing rate of $5.00 per year per person.

The fee of $5.00 per year is at the lowest end of comparatives of other associations in Saanich. The board feels that the proposed change will  increase the number of memberships, in turn adding to our influence with Saanich, yet still remain on par or less than rates of the other associations.

We need members to attend to vote on this.
