CBA is looking for volunteers
CBA is looking for volunteers to help out in a variety of ways. There is one Board position vacant and two sub-committees wanting to expand their membership to get a wider representation to tackle our local issues. The Board meets once per month, and committees meet as needed.
Please consider these opportunities
1. New Board member required to Chair the Events standing committee. The CBA is embarking on a path to engage residents in new and innovative ways and needs someone to manage one or two events (the type of event and frequency to be determined by the Events Committee) per year.
2. New committee members sought for the CBA Events Committee to assist in the organizing of events that require additional support. This may only be one event per year, however, if you are able to be “on-call”, your volunteer support would be greatly appreciated.
3. New committee members sought for the CBA Transportation Committee which works with the community, municipality and province to resolve issues of concern around transportation in Cordova Bay. The committee is currently seeking to enlist two or three additional members who are interested in transportation-related matters in our area. CBA members who reside on the “upper reaches” (i.e. the Ridge, Santa Clara, Alderley stretches) would be particularly welcomed.
