Fowler Park Notice
Dear CBA Member(s):
Saanich staff would like to notify you about a couple of things which will be taking place in Fowler Park in the next couple of weeks.
The CRD has requested the installation of a small accessible pit toilet close to the Lochside trail in order to serve trail users and nearby Lochside Park. The toilet will be maintained by the CRD on a frequent and ongoing basis. Work is expected to commence August 31st and be complete by September 10th.
Park staff will be undertaking clean up of the dirt piles adjacent to the parking lot. Soils containing thistles and other noxious weeds will be removed and the remaining material regraded and seeded to blend into the existing landscaped berm. This work shouldn’t take more than a couple of days to complete.
