McMinn Park Construction Update from Saanich
Just a note to let you know that our McMinn Park construction schedule is on-track with an anticipated start date of mid-June and completion in the fall. As you know logistics and public safety require us to close the park for most of this time. We had hoped to keep one of the tennis courts open, but this is not easily possible after all, and all courts will be closed. Perimeter trails will stay open. Notification signs will be posted in the park (please see attached).
If there is great demand for a court we will reconsider the closure, but in the meantime alternate courts are available at Perez, Lochside, Claremont-Goddard, Parkwood and Maltwood Parks (see attached). Also outdoor public Pickle Ball courts are at: Copley West, Rosedale, Majestic, Prospect Lake, and Tolmie parks.
