CORDOVA BAY LAP POSTPONED AT COUNCIL
NEXT STEPS FOR PROPOSED PLAN
The Proposed Cordova Bay Local Area Plan was presented to Council at the Committee of the Whole meeting on March 8, 2021.
Council passed the following motion:
“That consideration of sending the Cordova Bay Local Area Plan to Public Hearing be postponed until the completion of Saanich’s Housing Strategy and a subsequent referral to Saanich’s Advisory Committees including the Mayor’s Standing Committee on Housing Affordability and Supply for comment.”
Staff will now refer the Proposed Plan to Council’s Advisory Committee’s and the Mayor’s Standing Committee on Housing Affordability and Supply for feedback. Once the referrals and the Housing Strategy are completed, staff will be bringing Proposed Plan back to Council for their consideration.
