SAANICH Seedy Saturday, at the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific, Jan. 12, 2019 from 10 – 2

An annual event arranged by Haliburton Farm, the event averages around 600 people through the doors.

Haliburton Farm, a stakeholder in the One Planet Saanich initiative, secured Dr Trevor Hancock to speak on Feeding a One Planet Region.  The event is attracting much interest.  There is a vendor waiting list after all tables have been sold out in the Mel Couvelier Pavilion. In addition to local farms, vendors are coming from Gabriola island, Vancouver and one vendor is travelling from Powell River to showcase his biochar business.  For more information, please see the poster here.
